Greenwood Christian started the week off with a bang after a blowout win on Thursday night. Records were broken once again for the Hawks, Kade Heaton broke his own passing TD record, this time notching six scores through the air. His favorite target was Owen Whittington, who caught five of Heaton’s six TD passes. Whittington and Heaton combined for 613 yards of offense.
Clinton continues to prove why they have one of the best defensives in the state. Their catalyst, Brett Young, had yet another phenomenal game. Young did a bit of everything, including an interception, a sack, multiple tackles for loss, and a pass breakup.
